The "Global Warming" series is based on
a story created by Lu Pingyuan
in which a teacher tells a class about global warming,
but the main character is not concerned about rising sea
levels, etc., except whether his chocolate will melt at
home.
Lu has since created a series of melted chocolate mascots.
The work humorously connects stories with reality,
integrates climate theory, popular culture and
personal experience, and uses the image of chocolate to personify
the differences created by human experiences learnt
through stories.
